Featuring DJ March J Cubs and our newest premier cosplay competition, “The Legend of the Chôsen,” this year’s Night at the Aquarium promises to be memorable. Costumes welcome for all!

The best of the best of cosplay can earn a chance to win a stay in a host hotel for Dragon Con’s 30th anniversary in 2016. On-site prescreening will chose 20 finalists to compete for a three-night stay in a host hotel, along with admission to the 2016 Night at the Aquarium and a spot at the judge’s table for the 2016 competition. A second-place winner will receive $200 in Dealer Dollars, and third place will be awarded $100 in Dealer Dollars.

Cosplayers who would like to enter the contest must have purchased admission to the Night at the Aquarium (a Dragon Con membership badge is not required). Pre-judging will begin at 6:00PM. Contestants should enter the aquarium through the entrance marked Contest Check-In, which will be to the left of the main entrance on Baker Street. The top 20 entries will be posted by 7:30PM to participate in “The Chôsen,” which will begin at 8:30PM.

For all attendees, the food court will be open until 9:00PM, cash bars open until 10:30PM. And don’t miss the VIP experience! For $80.00, which includes admission, you’ll gain access to a private lounge area with scenic intimate views of the animal gallery, an open bar, light bites, and the best mixes under the sea, brought to you by DJ Wondershock.

Take it all in Saturday, September 5, 7:00PM–11:00PM. Admission is $25.00 in advance, $30.00 at the door. Shuttle bus will be available from the front driveway of the Marriott.
