Ghoultown to Stage Farewell Concert at Dragon*Con

Ghoultown will perform its farewell concert at Dragon*Con 2004 Sun 1AM Regency Ballroom VI-VII.

Count Lyle, Ghoultown’s lead vocalist, said, “letting Dragon*Con be our last show is kind of a cool thing.”  Lyle added, “We are retiring and doing something else, letting the winds blow us wherever.”  Fans interested in following the group should check out their website at www.ghoultown.com.

Santi, the band’s bass player, called Ghoultown’s music “heavy western,” crediting the term to the group’s acoustic guitarist Lizard Lazario.  “It’s kind of rock and roll, but not rock and roll,” Santi explained.

All four of Ghoultown’s recorded CD’s will be available for purchase at their table on the Ballroom Level of the Hyatt.  In addition to their first three CD’s, “Boots of Hell,” Tales from the Dead West” and “Give Em More Rope,” Ghoultown will offer their new combined CD/DVD “Live From Texas.”  Lizard said that the new CD has a double disc with a CD and a DVD of their live performance plus two bonus music videos.

Don’t miss their last performance ever!
