What is a “challenge coin”? It’s a small coin bearing an organization’s insignia or emblem and carried by the organization’s members. Traditionally, they are given to prove membership when challenged and to enhance morale and camaraderie within a military group. In addition, they are also collected by service members and have spread in popularity in recent years with non-military groups, such as civic organizations and volunteer groups.
We are happy to present Dragon Con’s first official collection of Challenge Coins at our Inaugural Intergalactic Military Ball Charity Event in 2014.

Pre-order yours at the Dragon Con Store, available for pickup at the Intergalactic Military Ball on Friday, August 29, 2014. Individual coins are $15, a set of three (use the code CCoinSet3) is $40–a $5 savings, a set of six (use the code CCoinSet6) is $70–a $20 savings, or get the whole 12-coin set for $130–a $50 savings! Preorders will be accepted only through August 3, 2014. Any additional coins will be sold at the ball on a first-come, first-served basis, and when they’re gone, they’re gone for good!
