The 2012 contest was awesome! A big “thank you” to all of our contestants! We had around 350 people in attendance at the presentation and all of the winners were very well received by the audience. Winners will receive their certificate in the mail. They will be mailed out before the end of September, after the Dragon*Con office has a chance to get back to normal operations.
Congratulations to all the winners!

Once again, the Friday Night Costuming Contest was host to a number of stunning costumes. With a focus on craftsmanship, this contest is never short on amazing pageantry. The amount of work and level of detail each contestant has given to their costumes is truly commendable. It was no easy feat choosing the winners.
Taloolah Love and New Orleans John presented the “Pin-Ups By the Pool Costume Contest” Friday 8PM at the Sheraton Hotel pool. Although scheduled for two hours, the first hour consisted of guests wandering around the pool, socializing, cheering when guys cannon-balled into the pool, and taking pictures of the few contestants who mingled with the crowd before the formal viewing and judging portion of the contest.
