AMC’s The Walking Dead consistently brings in top ratings and often beats the ratings of network programs. Several cast members, dead and alive, sat down in the “All That Matters: Walking Dead Q&A” panel in the Peachtree Ballroom (W) on Sunday at 5:30PM and discussed all things walker.

Season three had its share of unforgettable moments and heart wrenching deaths. Chad Coleman’s favorite scene was Tyreese telling the governor “Hell no, we won’t go.” On a different note, Scott Wilson said that having his leg chopped off was not one of his fondest moments. Daniel Thomas May was pleased with Allen’s story arc and death. “Allen was troubled and caused some trouble,” May said, but in the end he stood up to the governor and it cost him his life. IronE Singleton said T-Dog’s death was the best way to go out: heroically. He also shared that, for him, all of the deaths were equally as emotional and that he took each of them personally. Wilson gives credit to the writers for making each death so personal and that the actors owe a debt of gratitude to those who’ve died.

Singleton knew that The Walking Dead would be a hit from the time that he and Michael Rooker were up on the rooftop in Atlanta sweating profusely. Rooker figured out it was a hit show when his Twitter account went from 13,000 to over 100,000.

The Walking Dead’s two-part season premiere will air on Sunday, October 13 at 9PM and will consist of 16 episodes.
