Dragon*Con TV in the Marriot

If you cannot receive Dragon*Con TV on Channel 42 of the Marriot, please contact the hotel. Your TV needs to be reset.

Dealer Hall Changes

Hollywood Book and Poster will not be able to attend Dragon*Con 2008. There are two new vendors in International Hall (M): Anime Palace and Walkin’ Willie’s Comix.

Join your fellow know-it-alls at Dragon*Con Trivia Night with Wits & Wagers, a trivia game with a twist, utilizing the rules from Northstar Games’ Wits & Wagers. Bring a team or come by yourself to prove you’re the best. Don’t know the answer? Bet on your fellow players’ answers. One generic ticket to play. Teams will be made up of up to seven players. Cosplay Contest

The Anime and Animation tracks at Dragon*Con are proud to bring back the Cosplay Contest. Be sure to come by prejudging in Baker beforehand for contest forms if you wish to enter. During prejudging, contestants will parade in costume before our panel of judges who will rank the winners. Everyone will then show off their handiwork at the Cosplay Contest on-stage. Sat 4PM, Int’l North.

Informal Venture Bros. Photo Shoot/Meet-up

Take pictures of your favorite VB heroes and villains! Compare notes on how to keep your speed-suit from clinging or how to avoid your “cupcakes” from falling out of your outfit! Boggle at the wonders of too much free time! Sat 4:45PM, Baker.

2nd Annual MMORPG Costume Contest

Don’t miss the 2nd Annual MMORPG Costume Contest, Sat 5:30PM at the Sheraton Capitol Ballroom! Contestants can register online or in person at the Sheraton in the Augusta/Athens rooms. All contestants must check-in on Sat between 4:30 and 5PM at the Sheraton Capitol Ballroom.

D.Gray-man Photo Shoot/Gathering

All cosplayers from the hit Japanese manga/anime, D.Gray-man, are welcome to join us for some photos and fun. Photographers welcome, too! Sat 5PM, 3rd Floor Lobby by the Sailboat Bar (M).

Star Wars Royal Court

All children ages 12 and younger are invited to take part in the Star Wars Royal Court during the Star Wars Costume Contest, Sun 2:30PM, Regency VI-VII. They must have a Star Wars costume and preregister before Sat 7PM in Dunwoody.
