YA Presents Princess Alethea’s Traveling Sideshow

This fantastic show is one that all Young Adult fans need to experience at least once. This motley band of talented and costumed authors gathered in the Marriott A707 at 7PM Friday for an hour of readings, musical numbers and a ton of fun.

Alethea Kontis created this sideshow a few years ago for Dragon Con. It was an instant success. Now, it’s a tradition for the YA Track. This year’s panelists were S.J. Tucker, Alethea Kontis, Gray Rinehart, Leanne Renee Hieber, E.C. Myers, and Mari Mancusi. There was a lot of chemistry between these panelists, which made this panel so much more fun.

Two of the authors, Tucker and Rinehart, performed original pieces for the audience. Rinehart had everyone in the audience, and the panelists, singing along.

There was also an original Princess Alethea production of The Little Mermaid. It was hilarious. All of the panelists, the Brute Squad, and a young girl from the audience participated in this spin of the popular classic.

It was a joyful time for everyone.
