Dragon Con Art Show Presents 135 Artists and 40 Programs

The Dragon Con Art Show is back and even bigger and better than ever before, featuring 135 artists and 40 programming items. There are over one hundred bays of hanging panels with 2D artwork and thirty 3D table displays in the gallery plus a huge print shop with artwork priced for every budget. The Art Show also has a returning bazaar with 75 artists offering their creations directly to fans.

Among the 40 program items are demos and workshops that include making your own faerie door, a two-part dragon sculpting workshop, powdered graphite on clapboard, introduction to colored pencils, watercolor demo, oil underpainting demo, and figure drawing with live models. Sign up for participant limited workshops begins 30 minutes prior to the workshop start time.

This year’s Guest Jurors are Brom, Ed Binkley, and Allen Williams. Art Show Directors John and Anne Parise commented that “We strive to make the Dragon Con Art Show better every year.”

The Art Show is located on the Exhibition Level in the Hyatt Regency, Grand Halls. The Art Show is open Friday through Monday

Saturday-Sunday: 10AM-7PM

Monday: 10AM-3PM
