World of Warcraft Costume Contest
Come and show off your finest Azerothian fashions for our fans and judges. Prizes
will be awarded in a wide variety of categories (Best in Show, Judge’s Favorite,
etc.). We ask only that no actual undead (or Forsaken) contestants participate and
recommend keeping your hands, feet, horns, hooves, or wings far away from the MC or
the judges until they have been properly restrained. Guest judges for this year are Oxhorn, CKKnight, Amy Okuda, and Robin Thorsen. Sat 4PM, A601-602 (Marriott).
World of Warcraft – Darkmoon Faire
Get an early start on the MMO Track Gathering of Heroes Party! Come and compete with your fellow WoW players in a series of contests based on popular pastimes in Azeroth:
- Gnome Punting (or tossing…we have light fixtures to consider!)
- Stranglethorn Vale Fishing Contest
- Mini-quests (yes, you will actually have to talk to your fellow fans!)
- DPS Contest
- and the always popular…much much more!
Collect achievements during the festivities and redeem quest rewards for fun prizes. There will be live entertainment and appearances by special guests during the festivities. Sat 7PM, Capitol Ballroom (Sheraton).
MMO Trivia Contest
The Quest for the Bling Gnome Trophy reaches its third year. Compete in groups of 10 players against your fellow fans for prizes and the chance to be immortalized on the Bling Gnome. Everyone can play. Don’t have a team? We’ll find one for you. We promise that there will be no time spent LFG for this contest. Sun 7PM, Savannah Room (Sheraton).
