What do you think is the best comic story you’ve ever read?

When I was a fan growing up, the Dark Phoenix saga was awesome. As far as something more recent, I would say Preacher. It’s a real hoot to read.

What golden age heroes did you like?

I like all those guys just because they seem kind of quaint and from a different era. I liked all those guys. The Justice Society. They were all pretty cool.

Do you have a release date yet on the Gen 13 video?

Hopefully 1999, but it is up to Disney since they handle domestic distribution.

What do you think about guaranteed shipping that has been instituted by some of the Image partners?

It seems like a good thing if you can do it. We have tried to implement that, but it is kind of like going on a diet. Anytime you slip up you’ve blown it. So for the most part it would be great if everyone could make their ship dates, but sometimes things are beyond human control.

What’s your educational background?

I have a degree in Psychology from Princeton University.

What kind of music are you listening to these days?

I just got the latest Beastie Boys album, but I like a lot of girl bands like Veruca Salt.
