2010 Dragon*Con Charity: Lupus Foundation of America

This year, the beneficiary of the annual Dragon*Con Charity Auction will be the Georgia Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America.

Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that can cause damage to any part of the body. In some ways, lupus represents an allergic reaction by the body in which the immune system sees the body’s own healthy tissues and cells as foreign and attacks them. It is an incredibly unpredictable disease that can range from mild to deadly. There is no cure for lupus and more than 1.5 million Americans have it; that’s more than the combined number of those affected by MS, cystic fibrosis, cerebral palsy, sickle cell anemia, leukemia, and HIV. Please help us raise awareness and much needed funds for research!

We welcome all submissions for the 2010 Charity Auction. If you would like to send an item (or items) for this year’s event, please send them to:

2436 Riverdale Road
Suite 100
College Park, GA 30349

If you need a receipt for tax purposes, please include the requests with your package, and we will be more than happy to provide one for you. As always, we thank you for your generosity and your support.
